Tdap vaccine is a Tetanus–diptheria vaccine, along with acellular Pertussis meant for adolescents and adults. Tdap is recommended in this age group, because of its reduced reactogenicity due to decreased antigen content compared with DTaP.

Tdap is given as a single dose at age 11 years-12 years. Catch up can be done till 18 years
Pregnant women should receive Tdap during the third trimester, between 27th-36th week
Tdap can be given as a catch up dose for 7-10 year old kids, who are not fully immunized against pertussis even if Td was given recently
