Hi ,
My baby girl is 6 weeks old, i took her for first vaccine, i wanted painfull vaccine. When I visit hospital ( fernandez ) Hyderabad they are saying for painful you dont get polio vaccine, you will have that in painless, if you want polio you need to visit Govt hospital. As i discuss with my family, based on Covid outside situation we were ok to take painless vaccine.
But when am hearing more issues like Immune system wont be that good for painless to baby, am more worried now .
so from next visit on words like 10 nd 14 weeks can i go with painful vaccine. please help me..
Dear Parent,
Your doctor must have given Hexaxim, which is a painless vaccine to your baby. In covid-19 situation today, it is wise to take the readily available vaccines keeping safety of the child a primary concern. We should not avoid vaccinations either. It is perfectly fine to take next 2 doses of EasySix vaccine (called painful as can cause fever and some pain manageable by paracetamol) which contains all the vaccine antigens like Painless Hexaxim and is more effective. Please insist on taking EasySix at your next visit. See https://www.vaccinebox.com/easysix-a-new-efficient-vaccine-to-take-care-of-6-preventable-diseases-in-one-shot-is-launched-now/
